General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for seminars & programs

RegistrationWe are happy to accept your registration for a management seminar or program via email, mail, or our website. Upon receipt of your registration, you will receive:

  • A confirmation of your registration with the corresponding invoice
  • Information on the schedule, hotel/conference center and arrival
  • If the seminar is already fully booked, we will inform you immediately.


Seminar fee, hotel costs, and contentThe seminar fee (plus VAT) includes participation in the seminar and seminar materials.

Hotel costs, meals, and any daily rates charged by the conference center are not included in the seminar fee and must be paid directly to the hotel. Participants can choose whether to stay at the seminar hotel or externally. In the latter case, the daily rate charged by the hotel or conference center must be paid directly to the hotel or conference center.

The seminar fee is due upon registration and must be transferred no later than six weeks before the start of the seminar. We reserve the right to make minor changes to topics, the order of the seminar, or the speakers.


Collaborations: Some seminars are conducted in cooperation with renowned institutions. Certifications and ECTS credits are awarded in collaboration with the Steinbeis Universities.

Confirmations and Certificates: Upon successful completion of the seminar, you will receive a confirmation of participation or a certificate. For multi-part programs, the certificate will be awarded in the final module.


Rebooking and postponement

  • Up to three months before the start of the seminar: Free rebooking
  • Six weeks to three months before the start of the seminar: 30% of the seminar fee is due
  • Less than six weeks before the start of the seminar: 40% of the seminar fee is due
  • Less than two weeks before the start of the seminar: 80% of the seminar fee is due
  • Failure to attend: The seminar fee will be forfeited without refund

Rebookings may result in program changes or overlaps. No partial refunds are possible.


Cancellation, withdrawal, cancellation

  • Up to three months before the start of the seminar: Cancellation fee of CHF 500 plus VAT.
  • Three months to six weeks before the start of the seminar: 50% of the seminar fee plus VAT.
  • Less than 30 working days before the start of the seminar: Full seminar fee due
  • Alternatively, a substitute person can be appointed up to 14 days before the start of the seminar for a fee of CHF 800.- plus VAT in accordance with


Target group description.

If a seminar is cancelled due to force majeure or insufficient number of participants up to ten working days before the start of the seminar, there is no right to compensation.


Postponement in the event of a dangerous situation or pandemic: We offer flexible arrangements for pandemic-related rebookings: No additional seminar fee or rebooking fee will be charged. The seminar fee remains due with the value date stated on the invoice.

Events such as epidemics, pandemics, natural disasters, or serious political or social upheavals that pose a threat to participants and necessitate postponement are considered hazardous situations. Cancellation by participants due to such circumstances is not possible.

The StGallen imt Business School reserves the right to relocate seminars to another venue for valid reasons, without this giving rise to the possibility of withdrawal from the registration.


Insurance, liability and price changesWe recommend taking out seminar cancellation insurance to cover cancellation costs due to illness or other unforeseen events.

Any direct or indirect damages related to attending the seminar (e.g., accidents, illness, liability, theft, or application of the knowledge imparted) must be insured by the participants or their companies themselves. We assume no liability.


Swiss law applies, place of jurisdiction is St. Gallen.


With the publication of a new brochure, all previous information regarding content, conditions, speakers and prices become invalid.
